My outstanding personal experience with UC Davis Vet Hospital in December 2024 was both inspiring and deeply comforting as a pet-mommy. Our 8-year-old boxer was diagnosed with an irregular abdominal mass which could have proved fatal. The ER, Oncology, and Surgeons at UC Davis Vet Hospital diagnosed, organized and performed urgent surgery to extract the mass from his belly to save his life.
This was my first visit to UC Davis and the Vet Hospital in particular, where I noticed an extensive pool of zealous interns updating and instructing patients, and vets, delivering top notch patient care and exceptional customer experience to each troubled pet-owner who walked in. The 3 Doctors who treated our pet were women who provided well-rounded, comprehensive and exemplary care and updated us at every step. The hospital at UC Davis is a well-staffed, organized, top-notch facility, the wait time less than 10 minutes and the care, affordable and par excellence.
Many of my students choose to attend UC Davis year after year for pre-med and to study vet medicine. My personal experience at the Vet Hospital was exceptional and immensely gratifying.
