I am Bay Area-based, College Advising And Career Planning advisor from the UC Berkeley Program. I have a Master’s in English Literature and a Bachelor’s in Arts and Education. I specialize in guiding students through the college admissions process via 1:1 sessions, working with them closely and methodically on all aspects of the application process, and helping students bring out the best in their college applications.
I enjoy researching, gardening, cooking, traveling, and visiting colleges nationwide. I am an active member of the Higher Educational Consultants Association (HECA) NACAC, WACAC, and a Professional Member of IECA. Passionate about volunteering at various public, charter schools, and non-profit organizations, I have sound experience helping first-gen students navigate the college admissions process and enjoy learning from them. I believe every student is unique and my favorite part of the process is brainstorming essay prompts with my students and extracting unique stories and narratives from them.
I live in the East Bay and have gone through the college application process with my own children who had very different but positive journeys. College is a pathway, a learning experience which should be both positive and fulfilling for students. I want to help each student navigate the path to college with confidence, enthusiasm and minimal stress.
