Mausami Kakkar is a Bay Area-based, certified, College Advising And Career Planning advisor from the UC Berkeley Extension Program. She has a Master’s in English Literature and a Bachelor’s in Arts and Education. She specializes in guiding students through the college admissions process via 1:1 sessions, working with them closely and methodically on all aspects of the application process, and helping students bring out their best in their college applications.
She enjoys researching, traveling, and visiting colleges nationwide. Mausami is an active member of the Higher Educational Consultants Association (HECA) NACAC, WACAC, and an Associate Member of IECA. She is passionate about volunteering with various public, charter schools, and non-profit organizations. She has sound experience helping first-generation students and families navigate the college admissions process and enjoys learning from them in the process.
