Admissions: A Holistic Approach
Trinity takes a comprehensive approach to reviewing applications. The average recalculated GPA for admitted students is a 3.8. The university is test-optional, with 43% of admits and 59% of enrolled students choosing not to submit scores. Trinity looks for “scale tippers”—things that make an applicant stand out, such as applying Early Decision, demonstrating interest, out-of-state residency, and special talents in areas like athletics, fine arts, or debate.
