Agnes Scott College a small, private, liberal arts, inclusive women’s college, is a CTCL (College that Changes Lives) school in Decatur, Georgia with a focus on experiential learning. The college offers many opportunities for research and internships and provides a supportive
environment to help students succeed.
Admissions Process: Agnes Scott offers Early Decision, Early Action 1 and 2 and Regular Decision. EA 2 is the scholarship priority deadline as well. The admission process is holistic. Transcript, essay, supplement, recommendation letters are required. The College is test-optional for both admission and scholarship consideration and over 50% of students submit scores. 100% of students receive merit-based aid.
Majors: Agnes Scott offers 30 majors and 28 minors with the most popular ones being psychology, business management, public health, neuroscience, biology and political science. 3 dual degrees are offered, 3+2 Bachelors Programs are offered with Emory University (CS+
Nursing) and Georgia Tech (Engineering) 11 graduate programs are also offered.
Students – With 57% students of color, and 27% first gen. The college has academically driven students who are curious, keenly interested in social justice and have a desire to create change in their local and global community. 80% of students complete internships or mentored research/projects, and present at local and national conferences.
